Kept getting IE error message: "An error occurred while attempting to contact the server. Please check your Internet connection. Error=10" There was some more to the message but could not read it as the red strip was not wide enough. Anyway I think I got lucky. Click start. Enter "LastPass" in search bar. It appeared (I have never installed the service or been to their web site prior to the error message appearing) so I sent it to Recycle Bin and deleted it. Will now open my Excel and see if it is still there. Anyway, I hope that deleting it works.
Ooops! Did not work. Will try restarting the machine and see what that does.
